Fellowship of Women in Ministry Brunch

In 2005, former missionary and dear friend and I were deeply concerned about the spirit of competition and jealousy among women who minister. We agreed that the worldly “woman thing” had no place in the Body of Christ.  We sought the Lord and were led to create of a fellowship among women in ministry, The Fellowship of Women in Ministry. The God’s Leading Ladies’ Brunch was the first step in the vision of birthing unity among women called as leaders in the Body of Christ.

Psalms 133 tells us: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It [unity] is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”  The relationship among women in the Body of Christ should be distinguishable from that among women who don’t have a relationship with Jesus (Yeshua).  Dew refers to refreshing, strengthening, nourishment. The relationship among God’s daughters should refresh not stifle, empower not denigrate, and BLESS rather than curse.
